Publisher Qualifications for Kontera ContentLink™
Kontera's technology analyzes webpages in real-time and therefore our ContentLink ads for websites, forums, and blogs work well for publishers and advertisers in all content categories.
To qualify for ContentLink Website Advertising, your site must:
Be content-rich with more than 50 words per page on the majority of the site.
Use English as the primary language.
Kontera does not work with web publishers that promote, contain or link directly to the following content:
Illegal activity.
Pornographic or indecent material.
Material that violates intellectual property rights of third parties.
Excessive profanity.
Hate, violence, racial intolerance, or advocate against any individual, group, or organization.
Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Any content that is not consistent with Kontera Technologies' corporate policies as determined at its sole discretion from time to time.
ContentLink Ad Tag Modification
The ContentLink tag should be placed right before the closing tags, and should not be placed within a DIV or an IFRAME.
No Incentives to Click on ContentLinks
Web pages may not include incentives of any kind for users to click on the ContentLinks ads. This includes labeling the ads as sponsors or asking users to click on the ads or to please visit the sites.
Prohibited/Fraudulent Clicks
Any method that artificially and/or fraudulently generates clicks is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to: repeated manual clicks, using robots, automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited, to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs.
Policy Updates
The above ContentLink qualification policies might change from time to time. Though you will be informed of these changes, please make sure to keep up-to-date with and adhere to the policies.
Publisher Website Changes
Kontera monitors our publisher sites. Should a publisher’s website be found in violation of one of the ContentLink qualification policies in the future, the publisher will be warned, suspended or have their account terminated.
